No Leave for Satpol PP During Christmas and New Year

Jakarta Provincial Government has prohibited Satpol PP takes leave during Christmas and New Year. Yet, it does not apply to members who celebrate Christmas.

They (Satpol PP) are prohibited to take leave, except those who celebrate Christmas. They will be maximized for security

Jakarta Acting Governor, Sumarsono disclosed that the all Satpol PP members will be alerted for security. That is why they are not allowed to take leave.

"They (Satpol PP) are prohibited to take leave, except those who celebrate Christmas. They will be maximized for security," he expressed, during a Forkopimda meeting, at City Hall, Tuesday (12/20).

Forkopimda will Visit Four Churches on Christmas Eve

Jakarta Satpol PP Secretary, Iwan Samosir added, for Satpol PP who has taken leave will be cancelled. Because they are much needed to assist security that conducted by Army and Police.

"They will optimize security level at some points, such as worship places, recreational sites, etc," he stated.

His side plans to alert 1,000 personnel during Christmas and New Year this year. Meanwhile, as many as 3,000 other personnel will be alerted in their respective areas.

"We've prepared personnel to face Christmas and New Year," he closed.
